Laser cut

For this project I used illustrator to create an artwork to be laser cut. I created a scene of fish swimming through the night sky. The scene is meant to seem very fluid in order to move your eyes throughout. I used the specific cuts to create stars that give it more texture. The values are made with the paper and the cut out parts so it becomes difficult to create a range. It's made to cut in certain ways like on the tails and under the clouds to create a sort of mid range.
